Tangle Master 3D gives you a knot of cables and asks you to undo it. Each level presents a bundle of wires wound around one another, with plugs at the ends, and you free them by dragging plugs through and around the tangle in the right order. Pull the wrong one first and it tightens rather than loosens - the same thing that happens with real cables, which is a large part of why the game reads so immediately. The early levels are almost trivial and the later ones genuinely are not. Once four or five wires are involved, the order stops being obvious and the puzzle becomes a question of which cable is on top of which, three layers down. There is no time pressure, so the difficulty is entirely in reading the tangle. The 3D view can be rotated, and players who use it consistently find the later levels much more manageable than those who try to solve everything from the default angle.
How to Play Tangle Master 3D
Drag a plug with the mouse or your finger to pull that cable through the tangle. Rotate the view to see which wire sits above which before committing to a pull. Free every cable to complete the level. There is no timer, and a pull that tightens the knot can be reversed.
Tips and Tricks
Rotate the view before your first pull. The default camera hides which cable is on top, and almost every level that feels impossible is being viewed from the wrong angle.
Find the cable that is on top of everything else and pull that one first. Working from the outside of a knot inwards is the only order that reliably works.
Pull slowly and watch what moves. If two cables shift together, they are still linked and you are pulling the wrong one.
When a level resists, undo everything and start again rather than continuing. A tangle made worse is much harder to read than the original one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a time limit?
No. Levels wait as long as you need, which suits the game - most of the work is looking at the tangle rather than moving anything.
Can I rotate the camera?
Yes, and you should. Seeing which cable lies above which is what the whole puzzle depends on, and that is often invisible from the starting angle.
What happens if I pull the wrong cable?
The knot tightens instead of loosening. It is reversible, but a badly tightened tangle is harder to read, so restarting the level is often quicker.
Do the levels get much harder?
Yes. The first half is gentle and mostly teaches the controls; the second half adds cables until the ordering becomes a real problem.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Tangle Master 3D runs in the browser on GN Math and works by dragging with a mouse or a finger.
