TriPeaks Solitaire Classic is the pyramid-clearing member of the solitaire family, and it plays quite unlike Klondike. Three overlapping peaks of cards sit above a single face-up card at the bottom, and you clear the peaks by taking any exposed card that is one rank higher or one rank lower than that bottom card. Suit is irrelevant, which is what makes it fast, and long runs are possible - clearing eight or ten cards in a single unbroken sequence is common once you can see the ladder. The skill is in choosing which of several legal cards to take, because each one exposes different cards underneath and sets up a different next move. The stock pile is limited, so every draw is a resource you have spent. There are a hundred laid-out levels alongside the classic mode, and unlike Klondike, most TriPeaks deals are winnable if you plan the sequence rather than taking the first card you see.
How to Play Tripeaks Solitaire Classic
Click or tap any exposed card in the peaks that is one rank above or below the face-up card at the bottom; suit does not matter, and Ace wraps between King and Two. The card you take becomes the new bottom card, so runs can continue. When no move is available, click the closed stack to turn a new card.
Tips and Tricks
Before taking a card, check what it uncovers. Two legal cards often look equal until you notice one of them exposes a card that continues your run.
Clear the peaks from the top down where you can. Cards buried under a peak are the ones that lose you the game, not the loose ones at the bottom.
Count how many stock cards you have left. If it is one or two, stop taking easy singles and look for a run that reaches something buried.
Aces connect Kings to Twos, and this is where most missed runs are. When you are stuck on a King, check whether an Ace is showing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the suit matter?
No. Only the rank matters - one higher or one lower than the face-up card at the bottom. That is what makes TriPeaks much faster than Klondike.
Do Aces connect Kings and Twos?
Yes, the ranks wrap around, so a King can be followed by an Ace and an Ace by a Two. Missing this is the most common reason a run stops early.
Are all deals winnable?
Most are, provided you plan the order of your moves. Unlike Klondike, a lost TriPeaks game is usually a sequencing mistake rather than bad luck.
How many levels are there?
A hundred laid-out TriPeaks levels alongside the endless classic mode, so you can play either for a score or for progression.
Do I need to install anything?
No. TriPeaks Solitaire Classic runs in the browser on GN Math with a mouse or by tapping on a phone or tablet.
